This league is just a tool to promote playing among Philcrest members. It does not affect USTA or Missouri Valley rankings.

This site is running a web / browser based application to automate the process of running a ladder league.

Challenges are made online and the challenger and challengee receive emails to notify them of when they need to play the match by. Reminders are sent out if the game is unplayed and if no result is recorded by a certain time the match is forfeited and the challenger wins!

The format of this league involves all levels of playing including junior, adult and seniors in the same league. More members means more chances to play with same level players.

New members can challenge the first time anybody on the league, if he wins, he will take that spot pushing everybody in between one spot down. If he loses he will stay at the bottom of the list.

New users - to register, go to Login, then click on "Register here". There is no cost to join the league.

Once registered, you should receive an email with a link to activate your registration. Click on that link to complete the registration.

After activating your registration, your name should be on the "Rankings" page, at the bottom of the list. If not, contact your ladder administrator

Troubleshooting

• If you have not received your account activation email within 72 hours it is likely emails from the ladder are being blocked somehow. Please check the email is not in your spam or junkmail folder. You may need to add the squash-ladder.net, sports-ladder.net, games-ladder.net or tennis-ladder.net domains to your safe senders list (or whitelist) either in your email software or on your server. If emails are still not getting through you might need to contact your IT dept or ISP to ask if the emails are being blocked at the server. Please report any problems to the ladder administrator using the link at the bottom of the page.
• Email addresses and passwords are case sensitive. "Myemail" is different than "myemail"
• Do not use the browser's "back" button, instead, use the site menu bar (Home, Login, Information, etc)

You will have noticed a points score appear next to player names on the rankings page (if logged in). This is a trial points rating system based on the classic Elo system. Players will be awarded points for winning and lose points for losing depending on how difficult the system calculates your opponent to be. It will take a few games to settle down the scoring system. Currently the rating is displayed for information purposes only but in future it will be possible to arrange the ladder ranking system around this points score.
